Bombard Aerotec 420 Inflatable BoatHighly-regarded Bombard Aerotec 420 (4.2m) inflatable - these boats (the 380 and 420) have a high-pressure inflatable deck that forms a proper V-profile hull, unlike most flat-bottomed inflatable boats - they're the closest you'll get to a RIB in a package you can deflate and pack into a car boot. They plane easily and keep the sea well. Just search www.rib.net in the inflatable boat forum and you'll see how well regarded these boats are.We've had this boat for many years and used it a couple of weeks each summer, primarily in the Med around Italy, powered by a 25hp Yamaha 2-stroke - with two adults and two grown children aboard it would go along at a decent rate & have space for guests, getting on the plane easily and it's far more directionally stable than most inflatables - waves did not knock it aside. It's seen plenty of use but still has plenty of life in it. We no longer drive to Italy & it's not an option to take it on Ryanair(!) so it's been sitting in the garage for a year now - I can't seem to persuade my (Italian) wife of the joys of the North Sea... Comes with wheels (can be flipped over and stowed aboard at sea), a grapple anchor with 2m of chain rode & about 20m of line & a couple of paddles (pretty tired but they'd do in an emergency).Priced for a quick sale.Collect from Cambridge or I can palletise for delivery - should cost about £45 for a next-day service to most of the UK (2 day is only about £5 less).
