This auction is for a newly completed (2016) Bayliner project boat. The hull is a 1986 model 1600 Capri 16 foot fiberglass bow rider. My son bought this boat last year in Pennsylvania (fresh water boat, never in salt water until this morning) and never did anything on it. I took it over in March of 2016, ripped out all the interior, seats, floor, bulkheads, carpeting, etc. The main floor stringers were "sistered up" with pressure treated lumber, and all the floor boards replaced with pressure treated plywood, then fibreglassed over, and painted two coats with Rustoleum Restore. Rear transom reinforced, braced and through bolted. All wiring was upgraded; new horn, lights replaced, bilge pump re wired, battery leads upgraded, battery transfer switch/ disconnect switch new and both batteries almost new and working perfectly. New ignition switch, nav light switch, pump switch and horn button. Removable floor panels installed. Four brand new adjustable swivel seats with arm rests installed. Many other cosmetic and convenience upgrades. N.J. boat registration current.The motor is a 1986 Force 85 HP outboard that really pushes the boat well.
