1985 Correct Craft Ski-Nautique, 2001 model. I have owned this boat since 2005. I bought it off my friend who owned it for 7 years before that. Up until last year this boat was always in Florida. The last 3 years or so she has been sitting due to family and work obligations. We moved to NC a year ago and I began rebuilding the boat this spring. Unfortunately coming from Florida I was not aware of winterizing a boat and into the overhaul it has become apparent that I may have cracked the block. Also unfortunate is that fact that we do not have the space here to pull the motor and rebuild it. If you’re looking for a project this is it. Obviously new carpet and upholstery is required. I also recently discovered some rot in the deck next to the ski pole (likely from this past winter) so there will be some wood/fiberglass repair needed. Other options are to drop a crate motor in it or find a 351 Winsor block that’s counter rotating. I set the bid at $2000 because I’m just trying to recover what I spent this summer on parts and labor. It saddens me to see this boat go this way as it’s been a great vessel for our family. Hopefully there’s someone mechanically inclined out there that wants to take on this project. Recent work: New starter / solenoid, new helm control, new fuel pump, new carburetor (Holley GT-40), new steering wheel, new ignition coil, new impeller kit, and new belt kit. Can provide invoice. Also before we moved a year ago I replaced the bearings and tires on the trailer as well as the trailer lights.
