WE ARE LISTING THIS BOAT FOR A FRIEND. HIS CONTACT INFORMATION IS LISTED BELOW. Up for auction is a beautiful Model 242 CC 1998 Albemarle with ONLY 279 hours. The boat has 8' beam, 30" draft. Volvo 5.0 GI 305cc gas injected engine with jackshaft to Volvo DP duo prop out drive. Trim tabs, 2 bilge pumps, blower, dual batteries with Pro-Charger auto float automatic charger and battery select switch. 118 gallon fuel capacity in dual 24 gallon bait well, 40 gallon transom fish box, raw water wash down, hydraulic steering, engine fresh water wash out port, Soft T-top, cockpit flood light, 16 foot outriggers, dual Canon Magnum 10A elec. down riggers with Rhomer stacker releases, spare Trolling ball. Rod holder swivel mounts with keyed alike locks and security cable locking riggers and rod holders together to the boat. Spare (new) SS rigger cable, Riggers have 2 rod holders each. 4 Gunnel rod holders, 4 Rocket launchers on T-top plus 5 on helm seat back. UP front are 6 auxiliary rod holders, 2 rod storage lockers. 18 lb Danforth with approx. 250 feet 5/8 nylon and chain. Electronics include Lowrance HDS 7 Sonar/GPS Chart/Radar/engine data display, Garmin GPS Chart System, Furuno Sonar, ICOM VHF with auxiliary speaker. Auto Halon Extinguisher in engine compartment. Cockpit has coaming pads, storage under padded helm seat and pads on front of console. All pads were new as part of restoration project. REASON FOR SELLING: Just turned 81 years old with four badly torn rotator cuff injuries in last 5 years. Last one was February 2016. Could not be corrected. Was told to "Live with it". Now unable to raise either arm above shoulder level. Cannot reach electronics box, Out rigger mounts, etc. without intense pain. Boat owning days are over. Surf casting days are over. Same with trap shooting. That is why all boating equipment associated with this almost new condition 242CC Albemarle is included. We reserve the right to cancel this auction at anytime as we also have the boat for sale locally.Purchaser will also be responsible for payment and arrangements for pickup/delivery/surveyBoat can be seen by appointment only.
