Pedro 17 trailer sailer yacht
Estimated price for orientation: 265 $
Category: Sailing Boats
Class:
Description Type: Cruiser Hull Material: Fiberglass Make: Pedro Rigging: Sloop/Cutter Model: 17 Keel: Shoal Draft Year: 1980 Trailer: Included Length (feet): 17 Use: Fresh Water, Salt Water Beam (feet): 7
Nice little shallow draft 17 foot trailer sailer. We got this to sail on lakes and estuaries - the shallow draft and twin keels mean she can be launched and recovered easily and will stay level when the tide goes out. We keep her in the drive on the trailer and just pay launching fees when we used her (avoiding the high mooring fees on Ullswater). A lot of fun and as easy to sail and launch as a large dinghy.Could do with a coat of paint inside and out to smarten her up but ready to sail. Trailer is OK for road use but has rust patches which could do with painting.Has 2 beds and space for a bowl and camping cooker so could be used for overnight camping.Previous owner reinforced the transom to allow a bigger outboard. I think they used a 10hp. We no longer have a car with a tow bar so we haven't been using her. She needs to go to a loving home which will get lots of fun out of her.For more details on this yacht go to http://sailboatdata.com/viewrecord.asp?class_id=6078
