Description Condition: Used Year: 1985 Make: Wellcraft
I have a 1985 Wellcraft Scarab III 34' project boat that I really do not want to sell but I also really just don't have the time to restore. I am listing it just to see what I can get out of it. The boat appears to be fairly solid, I have poked around in several places and have not found any rot. It doesn't have any engines or drives, basically a bare hull other than some interior. The two small chairs pictured in the cuddy cabin on the left are no longer available, I have materials that go with it to start the process of making a long couch on that side. I do have some other parts that I am going to list separately if the boat would sell but the winning bidder will have first shot at them.Clean and clear title for the boat
Trailer is not included. I apologize for not being more clear on this originally, I didn't realize that I didn't put it in the ad. Sorry for the inconvenience. Please call in regards to loading it onto your trailer or with any questions regarding the trailer that it is sitting on. 8one2-774-twotwo69.Please, no calls after 9pm cst.Thank you for lookingI have had several people emailing instead of calling about the trailer that the boat is currently sitting on, here is the deal,When I first purchased the boat it didn't come with a trailer. Instead of paying someone to transport it just to have them block it up in my barn where I wouldn't be able to move it I bought a 24' trailer that was made out of 5" C channel steel. I extended the trailer 10', moved the new axles back along with all new springs and hangers. I added some supports down the sides and added rear bunk supports following the original trailer supports. All 3 axles are new, previous owner had just replaced one and I replaced the other along with adding one. I only have the rear tail lights/brake lights hooked up, no trailer brakes, ( I pulled it with a 1 ton truck which stopped it just fine for me). The trailer made it a little over 1000 miles unloaded and then made the trip back with the boat on it. It's not pretty and doesn't fit the boat properly but it got the job done for me plus it allowed me to move it around. If you are interested in purchasing the trailer with the boat, I will sell it for $1500.00, I have more than that in it. I would recommend bringing some good spares, they are 5 lug, 14" wheels. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT YOU ACCEPT ALL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TRAILER IF YOU DECIDE TO PURCHASE IT WITH THE BOAT AND IT WILL NOT COME WITH A TITLE OR BILL OF SALE. I TRUSTED IT AND IT MADE IT A VERY LONG WAY FOR ME BUT IT IS BASICALLY, HOMEMADE.
