Description Condition: Used Year: 1975 Make: Able Poitin 24
Semi-custom 24' sailboat, designer Evelyn, model Able Poitin 24, PHRF rating 201, yellow gelcoat, 8 barrier coats of Baltoplate and VS Offshore on bottom, polished like mirror, only this bottom itself costs $6000! Custom oversized rudder also polished, 4' draft, fin keel. Hull is AIREX foam sandwich, not balsa core! Standing rigging Dyform. All hi-tech lines for running rigging, life-lines and sheets. Full set of cruising and racing sails, full set of instruments - wind, depth, speed, compass. Inside cushions, port-potty, sink, solar vent. No leaks, all deck screws were recently re-sealed. Outboard Mercury by Nissan 2-stroke 5 HP long leg, very low hrs, used only to deliver boat to racing area. Professionally maintained, flushed with fresh water after each use. Boat has trailer with 2 axles and electric brakes. Trailer is documented and cost of the trailer alone is $2500. Boat is owned by marine service professional and is in good condition. Very fast, lots of fun and ready to sail! This boat has won almost every race it participated in - too many to list. Easy to handle, can be double-handed. Boat is now at Marina in Brooklyn, NY. Boat was on dry storage for the last 5 years during winter season and in the water during summer season only.

2 storage compartments between forward berth and center bulkhead. Stbd compartment with bar for foulweather gear/lines, Port compartment has shelf and place for porta-potty. Just aft of the center bulkhead on starboard - sink and water pump, installed but not connected. Two storage shelves directly above and storage box below.
On port directly across from sink - structural storage box with place for stove and storage shelves above and below.Port and starboard berths, extra wide, with cushions (seats and backs) and storage behind them and below them.
Fold-up navigation table and charts compartment directly below companionway. Electric panel on port can be reached from cockpit. Under cockpit storage for outboard engine.
