Ultra-rare Tomcat rowing catamaran. This super stable craft was only made for a very short time...only a few made as I understand and near impossible to find for sale on the used market. Can handle larger seas and wakes without fear of tipping. Was an "improved" version of the (also rare) original "skimmer" catamaran pioneered by the late Dave Emmer. The original skimmer was 2 feet shorter and had a standard rowing rig. The Tomcat is 2 feet longer (18'6") for increased speed and load carrying capacity (original Skimmer tended to sink a bit too low if you were over say 150 lbs.) and also has a sliding rigger as opposed to a sliding seat (smoother rowing action). Boat is in excellent condition..no cracks or damage to the hulls. Structurally perfect. Two 9'9" oars included.The only thing missing from the boat are the 2 oarlocks, which can easily be purchase online for about $40.Trailer in picture is NOT included....but the boat can easily be cartopped with a standard rack. Overall weight is about 80 pounds, not including oars.
