I have a Honda 30Hp outboard 4 stroke long shaft for auction, was in my Catamaran since new. has done a lot of hrs but was running like a dream , is 4 stroke with carbies. I changed it with a new tohatsu 4 stroke 2 yrs ago & has been sitting in my shed ever since. I say it will have to have the carbies cleaned out & maybe cleaned under the flywheel as it has had the cover off it the whole 2 yrs , but still looks clean but i would say to come & look at it anyway first to see it & make a decision as if you bid on it , it is a NO RESERVE AUCTION so you bid you buy it , i don't want to have any hastles over this motor as i know it will run great with some TLC. So get a good deal, it has no trim tilt , has a small piece of the cowl snapped off where we lent it against something , maybe still have the piece to be glued on??? Top cowl is in reasonably good condition , could be sold for parts for good money if you wish, as the gearbox is worth over $1200.& as i said it was running great on my last trip to indonesia & back. didn't miss a beat. so any questions please ask ok.
