Myrna was built as the paymasters ferry on Sydney harbour and had numerous local runs in Pittwater over her life. All rotten wood has been removed from the decks and wheelhouse roof, timber hull is copper sheathed, Ford Lees coupled to a thornycroft gearbox. Great project for someone with the time she needs. Urgent removal as work is about to commence on the nearby building. Boat is located in Botany. First photo was prior to her being removed from the water. Frames and planking has not opened up and boat has been kept wet since removal from the harbour. My loss will be your gain.
