4.6M WITH FIBREGLASS BOAT, MAIN AND BACKUP ENGINE, TRAILER AND SAILSWith boats have an excellent reputation for being seaworthy, fast under power and capable of getting up on the plane with relatively small (15-20hp) outboards.  I refurbished this boat earlier this year carrying out the following work:Increased transom thickness by 20mm using 20mm waterproof ply glassed in all round and in the "sandwich". This was to ensure that the boat was strong enough to take a bigger outboard at some later time.New waterproof ply floor glassed in with plastic bottles trapped under floor giving 100 lbs flotation plus air void underfloorNew seats using waterproof ply and incorporating a dagger board box to the central seat, mast step to the forward sea and built in foam buoyancy tanks to the rear seat giving 120 lbs buoyancySealed buoyancy compartment right round the gunwales giving about 200lbs buoyancy.Foredeck glassed in place and incorporating a bulkhead with watertight hatch. All formed from waterproof ply. This forms another buoyancy compartment giving buoyancy of about 250 lbs.Everything given 2 coats fibreglass resin.Trailer was reconfigured to make it balance correctly and it was made into a break back trailer for ease of launching. It has a new jockey wheel and good bearings and tyres. Complete with tie down strap, winch, lighting board.Mast and boom are aluminium, mast has new rigging. Sails are in fair condition and from a Lark sailing dinghy. Everything needed to sail is present including rudder, tiller, dagger board, sheets, blocks, jam cleats etc. I have not finished work on the mainsail and this will need some work to get the boom to hang correctly and the jam cleats and fairleads are not fitted. The 7.5 hp engine has had a service with new plugs and oil and the water jacket cover has been removed and salt deposits removed and a new gasket fitted. The carburettor has been checked and cleaned and a new float valve needle fitted. It starts easily and runs well pumping lots of water from the tell tale, the gears engage and work fine . The reverse interlock mechanism has been replaced. There is a manual with the engine. The 2.2 hp engine I have had for 25 years and it has been a good workhorse. It is not pretty  but it starts , runs, pumps water -what more could you ask for. I have fitted a bracket on the stern to take the 2.2 as a back up or to use whilst sailing. Further equipment supplied with the boat includes:                                      oars and rowlocks                                      anchor and anchor rope                                      bailer                                      25 litre plastic fuel tank and fuel line(for 7.5hp) and 5litre plastic fuel can for 2.2hp.                                      Cover                                      Miscellaneous spares for rigging and both engines. The boat has been used only once since refurbishment using the 2.2 engine, it performed well.  I am due to have major surgery very soon so have decided to sell the boat as I wont be able to use it for quite some time. If I am able to I will get something smaller when I have recovered sufficiently. That said I don't need to sell, I would rather keep the boat under wraps than accept a silly offer, bearing in mind all the work that has gone into it.FOR THIS VERSATILE SAFE BOAT I AM ASKING £ 1375.00. CASH ON COLLECTION PLEASE. BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR COLLECTION. Boat can be viewed anytime by appointment . Ring Terry Evans 01524 735295I am located 1.5 miles from Junction 35 on the M6 near Carnforth, LancashireApologies for the poor quality pictures, if I can take better I will put them on .
