Can I introduce a beloved CruiserPurchased three years ago direct from the Enviroment Agency,so satisfactory proof ofownership with no liens or debts against her whatsoever .She had been sitting idle for a couple of years prior to my buying her and as such needed a lot of cleaning , reassembling and overhauling.Due to the terms of purchase l had only weeks to get her up and running , launched and back to my home marina. Probably the most economical berthing facilities in all of Essex. £72.20 per month inc water and mains electric [ payable by card ] Berth can be arranged subject to usual conditions of Marina. The first priority was the engines. Both seized but only because of non usage. Stripped them both down had heads attended to for present unleaded fuel as well as crack testing, cleaning and new valve springs. Bores were in quite remarkable condition considering  hours recorded. Just a hone to clean and check for damage, none found, New gaskets , filters, spark plugs , leads, coil, points and condensers, distributor caps and leads. Now as l didn't fancy two petrol guzzlers , l changed both inlet manifolds over to single carb fitting and single downdraft carbs. So technically the engines are now rated as AQ 125's. Both starter motors and alternators were sent for reconditioning wether they needed it or not.All reassembled tested and ready for journey back down the Thames from Chertsey to Canvey Island. The out drives just checked and fingers crossed. New batteries, there are now 4 HD ones. She has been out of the water once since then to inspect her underparts , all fine and to renew the bellows and anodes, change the oils and repaint the legs. Fitted new alloy propellers so have two spare ones on board now.She has been put back to original, new main cabin seat coverings, new carpets all through. All wood work is original just been revarnished. Pressurized cold water system. Gas 3 ring hob and grill. The main helm seat has been replaced but have got the original. The dash facia has been recovered as has the switch panel,All rigged for 12volt lights throughout but a 240 volt facility is available. There is a marine radio of dubious age but it appears to function, as does the speed log and depth sounder,a much newer item. A CD/Radio from a car is fitted in the main top cabin. The petrol tank has been replaced for a non metal one.Tons of storage under floor in this area where water tanks are housed also.Forward cabin, in the bow section has two berths that can be turned into a double and two small wardrobes but with ample storage under beds.Main saloon/cabin/lounge , call it what you will, is divided into seperate toilet wash room, with sufficient space and cold water to taps as i removed the shower unit. Still have if required.Kitchinette ,with wash bowl ,hob ,fridge and just enough space and useful storage areas. Opposite this a table with u shaped seating around that converts to a double bed. Three steps up and the main con area and a single berth or couch. Can be made into double.Large area with fold away table. Main driving station and comfortable chair. The hull is sound and only requires a clean due to drying out between tides. The gelcoat on topsides is good but due for a polish.Good hand rails and grab points.Anchor has manually operated winch.Davits pretty standard and hauls up my inflatible dinghy ok.Flybridge , has still to be sorted but rev counters ,stop switches and a couple of other things still operate. There is a cover over this and a full cover for the aft deck but it is too much trouble to erect for me.There is plenty of storage space in the aft deck with ladder to flybridge. If this has whet your appertite then by all means come and look and have a demo.Finance can be arranged if required. It is advertised with a broker and privately so could be sold prior to auction end.A paypal deposit of at least £500 on end of auctionno hurry to move it or it can stay.Yes there is still work required but mainly cosmetic and voluntary improvements, she will get you anywhere your heart so desires and boy does she look and sound good. You can get me on 07936 557 491 for further info or viewing,
