This a perfect 1959 Chris Craft Continental. I restored her last year and she came out wonderful. The Bottom was sanded to bare wood and re-calked, 3-coats of Smith's penetrating epoxy, with 3-coats of of primer and 4-coats of bottom paint. All the hardware was removed,. boat sanded down and any issues fixed. The yellow was brighten up and 17-coats of varnish were applied. She was then wet sanded 3x to 1500grt then machined buffed 3x to a beautiful glossy finish. Then brand new white stripping (paint) was applied along with the water line. The engine is a chevy 283 with 185hp. Some engine work has been done on her ,new water jackets spark plugs and electronic ignition. She runs perfect and starts like my truck...perfect. All gages were rebuilt and work as they should. This is the second season on a brand new interior. It has all new wiring and 2-automatic bilge pumps and two new batteries. This boat is better than when it came from the factory. Comes with a custom waterline cover and custom trailer. Just fun to ride in and ski behind. On the water now if you would like a test drive.
