This homemade wooden 8' sailboat was crafted by hand in Berkeley, California with just two sailings a few years ago (pictured). One sailing was to test for leaks and the second was to test the sail and keel. Currently, it's sitting in storage waiting for a new owner! The entire construction was made with very high quality wood that was cut, steamed, sanded, and painted by hand (exact wood is unknown, but some mahogany inlays I believe). The owner is retired and looking to pass on the boat to someone on the west coast if possible.To be noted, while moving the boat into storage a few years ago, some parts of the boat may have light scratches or marks during moving. Moving blankets would be supplied when the boat is picked up. Simple paint touch-ups might be necessary, but no wood work. The boat is being sold as-is and is only available for pickup in Berkeley, California. These are all of the photos that could be found at the time.
