2006 Avalon Pontoon BoatI purchased this boat from a boat rental company on Oct of 2013. I planned on keeping it for a summer and then just fell in love with it and took it out every chance I got. The seats were ripped and still are. I just lay down towels over them. The gas gauge and RPM gauge never worked when I purchased it. I use my boat in Galveston bay to go the island and pull tubes all day for 8 hours and have never run out of gas. I just purchased brand new thick weather resistant dual vinyl tops June 5th. They do an excellent job of keeping the sun out and have a 5 year warranty from Direct Marine and RV on ebay. I also have new bottom paint on the toons.The boat originally had a 2006 Mercury 60hp Bigfoot. I met an owner of Gulf Coast Marine on the dock a few months ago and he stated that most motors are purchased online these days and he's getting out of the outboard business and just going to focus on marine repair. He had a 2011 Mercury 75HP Optimax Direct Injected 2 stroke. No more mixing gas and oil. This motor was still in the crate and had never been used. Its literally brand new. He was taking it and other motors to boat shows and as you know here in Houston we have a lot of boat shows. Gulf Coast is a certified Mercury Dealer. I purchased the motor as its considered a brand new purchase and I have the 3 year fully transferable warranty. The warranty became effective 5/3/2016. This motor runs great, the pontoon speed with 4 people is 22mph. This boat also comes with a 2014 Galvanized Load Rite Trailer that is in like new condition. No rust or fading. Tires have less than 200 miles on them. Load Rite is considered to be the best and most respected pontoon trailers on the market. I welcome all phone calls and texts. The reason I'm selling is I am being transferred to Colorado for my job and its a permanent position. They only have 3 maybe 4 month boating season at best and its all small lakes. I prefer the bay and boat 7 months here in Houston.I'm willing to be very reasonable with price with the new motor and new trailer but I cannot give it a way. I am selling at no reserve and my bottom price is $7500. This is a cash price.
