Lost our mooring, so the sailboat must go!
This is a 26' Clipper Marine, swing-keel sloop with a tandem trailer and 5 hp Evinrude outboard. It is the pop-up style of cabin and has about 6' of headroom in the main cabin with the top up. The forward cabin hatch has been upgraded with a thick lexan cover and fitted screen. It sleeps 5 (very tight) or 3 very comfortable.
Reefable main, working jib and storm jib, all in good condition. All running and standing rigging in good condition. Running rigging has been routed for single-handed piloting, all from the cockpit. A-frame attachment to forward stanchions allows safe mast-raising/lowering by one person, even on the water.
All cushions are intact, small portapotty in the forward cabin. Rain cover and screen cover for the cabin are attached. Life jackets, throwable, whistle, etc are on board. Flares are also there, but expired.
VHF radio with mast-mounted antenna, interior wired for AM/FM/CD, but wiring harness needs repair to operate. Solar panel/voltage regulator to refresh battery, which has not been tested this year.
Galley includes a sink, propane stove and cooler.
Danforth anchor with 100' rode. Small mushroom anchor. Deep folding ladder on stern for easy access and swimming.
The outboard has not been operated this year, but always starts when given fresh gas in the spring.
With the swing-keel up, this draws about 20" of water, with it down, about 6'.
Trailer has been upgraded this year with a new winch tower and has a good spare.
Normally the boat has been on a mooring all summer and is always dry and stable.
If you are looking for a great sailboat to cruise around in, this is it.
