1970s Hobie Cat 16 footNo reserveComes with one set of sails (mainsail and jib) and a spare mainsailEverything in poor condition, except the sail set which is in average conditionCurrently not sailable as the bracket on one of the arms that controls the rudders has broken (see 4th vs 5th photo). Parts are hard to find for boats of this age, but could probably be patched up.Some hardware (I think one of the shrouds and the forestay) have been replaced within the last 5 years. The trailer is functional, and drivable.Would be good for parts, or as a first catamaran to try if you didn't want to outlay a large amount of money first up. The only condition is you have to come and pick it up yourself from Blairgowrie on the Mornington Peninsula
On 18-Jun-16 at 21:09:03 AEST, seller added the following information:Some answers to questions I have been asked;-> The hulls, like the rest of the boat, are in variable condition. They did not take in water last time I sailed it, but this was over 3 years ago and they will have weathered since then and may need patching.-> The trailer was towable last time I used it. The driveway to get out of the property is quite steep - a 4WD of some kind would be advisable
