No Time Wasters PleaseThis year been our tenth year of very happy trading as a Hotel Narrowboat, we have now taken the decision to sell her at the end of October 2016.Sale to Family Bereavement, We trade for 7 Months of the year, from early April until nearly the end of October. (Then Hibernate for 5 months) We cater for up to four guests in two single cabins, one double cabin, and a cabin at the stern for two crew, All cabins have their own Bed, Shower with bi Folding Door, Hand Wash Basin and a Full Size Porcelain 12 volt Macerator Toilet.We take bookings when our routes for the year are available which is about 7 months before the season starts, Over the years we have had some very lovely guests of whom many return in the same year and the following year. We have a set route for the season, the cruises are from five nights up to ten nights. Most of the cruises start in one location and finish in another location.Occasionally we do a cruise that is called a ring, which would start and finish in the same location, (ie Stone to Stone). All meals are provided, Breakfast, Morning Tea or Coffee with Biscuits, Lite lunch, Afternoon Tea or Coffee with Cake, Three course evening meal.About the Boat.Custom Built as a Hotel Boat From New.The boat is a R&D Slipper Stern, Flat Bottomed Steel Hull, 70 feet in length (about 20 meters). Launched in 2000 Draft 2' 2" Engine is a Beta 42, 1900ccWhich runs on Red Diesel. Classed as a Hotel Boat it's licensed as a commercial boat so no duty to pay on the red diesel.The engine is enclosed in an acoustic housing.Also a Hospital Silencer Exhaust is installed to keep exhaust noise to a minimum.Gearbox PRM 150 Hydraulic Bow Thruster.Vetus Water Lubricated Drive Shaft and Seal System. (No grease tap to turn every day) 12 volt 100 amp auxiliary alternator. (for charging domestic batteries)12 volt 75 amp alternator. (for charging the engine & domestic batteries).12 Volt Rolls Deep cycle Batteries. (Domestic)1 Engine Battery.Hook up Cable.Battery Monitor, shows volts, amps in/out, amps used.6 Solar Panels with 50 amps Victron Solar Charger. Effluent Holding Tank.Large Water Tank In bow, and a smaller one at the stern. Twin Fresh Water Pumps.240 volts 3kva Travel power system fitted to the engine. When the engine is running This system supplies 240 volts to the Victron inverter charger.Victron 240volt 3kva inverter / 120amp charger. with adjustable amps of shore power. This system does 3 jobs.1. Supplies constant power to the 240 volt ring mains sockets all around the boat from the domestic batteries.2. When Power comes from the Travel power (engine running) or hooked up to shore power, This charges the domestic batteries, and supplies power to the 240 volt ring mains (Please note if there isn't any shore power the engine should be run when using high wattage equipment, ie washing machine or tumble dryer). 3. When connected to a low amperage shore power the Victron will top up the power from the batteries if required.A Hurricane hot water & heating system, (Red Diesel) This heats up the Water cylinder and the radiators around the boat. Heat exchanger is fitted which heats up the radiators when engine is running (also the engine heats up the water cylinder).1 kw Immersion Heater fitted to Water Cylinder.In the galley there is a 5 burner Gas Hob, Gas Oven with Separate Grill above, Deep fat fryer, Bosch Dishwasher, Liebherr Fridge, Sink with drainer + Seagull Drinking Fresh Water Tap and Filter under sink. In the Lounge There is a Dining table, Seating with ample storage underneath, A Coal and Wood burner Stove, Tv.Also onboard there is a Washing Machine, Tumble Dryer, & Freezer.A 240 volt Self Pump out System, Empties The Toilet Waste Tank At Sanitary Stations at no cost, Alternately the tank can be emptied by boat yards.(at a cost).Other items to be included in sale.Data of Customers subject to their permission.
