A 1937 Chris-Craft 17’ Runabout, Model 817 Description: Registration “New York 1001 GH” (the first registered), named “Liz BLC” in gold leaf on stern over, the upholstery dark maroon vinyl VIN: 72107 Engine:  Chris-Craft Marine Model K-A, strait six L-Head engine, #KA-6362 Condition: Professionally replaced transom panel, replaced iron engine heads, with original aluminum alloy head accompanying.  Separation of wood on transom section through “Liz”, original finish with one coat re-varnish to protect original finish.  Bottom has been professionally restored in original “Copper Penny” finish. Provenance: Hollywood sound editor Bill Phillips was second owner - bought when working the film, “The Natural” in Buffalo, New York.  Plus - 1983 Boye Trailer, Erie, Pa. VIN #3010807
