Up for auction is a beautifully restored 1952 16' Dunphy Musky triple cockpit mahogany wooden boat. This is a very rare model of the Dunphy Musky as this has the center steer.  My father restored this boat along with about 8 others in the last 6 years or so, and now he is really just running out of space to put them all. He would like to keep them all, but space is really the issue now.  This boat was stripped down to bare wood, any imperfections were properly filled in with West Systems, boat was free of any rot and was a super solid project from the beginning. I believe he has about 11 coats of the final finish on the boat, and he special ordered the exact factory color of paint for the rest of the boat. Decals are original to the boat. The boat comes with an excellent running 1957 Johnson 35 hp Seahorse. The motor was only run a few times last summer, but ran very good both times we had it out on the lake. The motor will probably be due for its spring tune up this spring, buyer will need to take care of that. The boat sits on a restored Tee-Nee trailer and that is included in the sale as well. Whenever he takes this boat out on the river or lake, it gets a ton of attention, and turns heads like crazy, as it really is one beautiful boat. The boat is a used boat and is sold as is where is with no warranty.
