You are looking at a 1988 Sea Ray Pachanga 22 speed boat comes with original trailer. I purchased this boat a few years back and I am the third owner. The engine is a small block Mercruiser (Chevy) with an alpha outdrive which was just serviced last fall with a new water pump, fresh gear lube and seals, and was completely sanded and painted with Pacifica brand outdrive paint (much better than the spray). U-joint bellows, shift cable bellows and gimble bearing were all new at the end of last season as well. The engine also received a full tune up. The exhaust manifolds and risers were removed, inspected/cleaned and reinstalled with all new gaskets. I do this yearly. The boat still shines up nice, but does have a few cosmetic blemishes (scratches, dings, etc) as any older boat would have here and there.  Its not a museum quality boat, but you can definitely get it out on the water and have some fun!  It is in very nice condition for its age. This boat sounds incredible as well with the factory thru-hull corner exhaust. The front seats were reupholstered a few years ago and are in GREAT shape. The boats bottom was also sanded down thoroughly before the new bottom paint (Interlux Micron) was professionally applied. It does come with a full mooring cover which is in great condition as well. This Pachanga has a factory drop in towing eye for skiing and tubing, etc. It is easily removable for relaxing on the rear sunpad/engine hatch. There is a spot in the cuddy cabin for a porta potty to be installed. We told the old owner to keep it and dispose of it as it was used. The cushions in the cabin do have a few light water stains here and there (left the windows open a few times). I'm sure they will rub right out with some cleaner and elbow grease.
A compression test was performed on the motor at the end of last season with all of the cylinders being within range of 150-165. This boat will run around 55-60mph. Cruises around 35/40 comfortably and cuts right through 2' chop. It is an incredible hull and designAll of the original gauges work and are clear, (except for the depth sounder gauge) vhf works, etc. The trim gauge works as well but is not currently hooked up. The wires are all there an it is a 10 minute fix if you would like. It has a dual battery set up with a switch under the rear seat as opposed to the single battery they originally had. The batteries are also new. If you notice in some of the pictures the rear chrome engine vents are missing. We removed them when the boat was buffed/waxed so they would not be damaged. It also gave a cleaner waxed look. They have been re installed since. It also has a sleeping/relaxing cuddy cabin forward under the front of the boat. With just a little work this will be a great boat for years to come! The trailer is in good shape. No rust or rot, solid frame. It has heavy duty 6 lug axle and wheels. We brought it up to Lake George twice last year with no problems (other than needing a taillight if I remember correctly). I'm not 100% sure if the brakes work but it's not that heavy of a boat so its not a big deal. You can tow this with and medium size SUV on pp to larger trucks. We even pulled it with our jeep wrangler to the lake one day. We have run this boat a few times on the river and the ocean but it was always washed and flushed immediately after each run with fresh water. It has spent most of its life on the northern part of the Hudson river which is fresh water. We can help with delivery/transportation of the boat however, arrangements would need to be made BEFORE the auction ends. Do not just expect it to be delivered to you. We would need to know where it is going (either here in the US or overseas). If it is going overseas, we can transport it to a shipping port for you. Again, please contact us for further information.Clean title for the boat! Bill of sale for the trailer!
Here is what the boat needs:The rear seat/sunpad reupholstered, the carburator needs a cleaning or filters cleaned or replaced. It sometimes stalls while running at idle. I was told that it is all in the carb. Since we moved to central NJ over the winter, we have taken it out a few times but have decided to purchase a more family friendly, cruiser type of boat. Also, the radio I believe is original. It powers up but doesn't seem to work. May need to be looked at or replaced.Too many toys and this one unfortunately needs to go due to another one on the way!! These boats are getting much harder to find!! NO RESERVE!!Full payment due within 3 days (paypal for remaining balance not accepted-cash, bank check, money order accepted) of end of auction unless prior arrangements have been made and agreed upon. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!You are more then welcome to come and inspect the boat in person for yourself or a marine surveyor. On Jun-15-16 at 16:58:31 PDT, seller added the following information:To answer a few questions, the picture of the boat on blocks is when it was sanded and painted this spring. The picture after it of the transom and outdrive, the paint was not yet finished. I had all of the screw holes from the pitot tube, drain plug, etc, filled in with fiberglass, redrilled properly and completely sealed new screws with 5200 then painted over when it cured. Too many times people have holes under the waterline that slowly leak and saturate the transom. This was done the RIGHT way to avoid that.
