This 1986 SONIC 24 SS by J R Custom Marine was originally a Harry Schoell design for Donzi, and is arguably the BEST riding and most efficient 24' hull ever designed or produced. Being 24', it is scary fast (70MPH) but can still handle rough seas, is easy to handle around the dock and on the trailer and, my favorite part, is that it has the cabin of a 30' I/O boat which makes a "real" weekender. The boat is powered with twin 2000 Mercury 250 CXL EFI 3.0 saltwater series outboard engines that have just been serviced by a CERTIFIED Mercury mechanic with new water pumps, fuel filters, fuel hoses, alternators, spark plugs and wires. Fuel injectors have been professionally cleaned/serviced too. These oil-injected outboards are fast starting, super quick to get on plane and fly like the wind. They come with 4-blade stainless steel props and are mounted on a transom bracket/swim platform. Cosmetically, this boat is like perfection. The deck and cockpit were recently redesigned to reflect the modern styling of offshore powerboats and we just finished a custom paint job and graphics for that one-of-a-kind look. A new floor was put in so you don't have to worry about it going soft and the upholstery was completely updated as well with twin barrel helm seats with drop-down seat cushions, bench transom seating and v-berth seating with sleeper cushions.The boat is equipped with a marine stereo with Bluetooth, USB and Aux inputs, new speakers, Bennett trim tabs, 2 new batteries with isolator switches, full set of Livorsi custom gauges and steering wheel, compass, glove box and cockpit cover.
