Now you can have that "big boat feel" on small, inland lakes! Up for auction is my 1979 MacGregor Venture 25 complete with trailer, sails, mast, boom & swing keel. The trailer is custom-made for the boat with longitudinal (length of boat) carpeted supports & trailer is low-slung with swing keel support so you can launch her in about 18" of water. She has a tilting motor mount but no motor. Harken racing blocks replaced the original, with cam-cleats for easy handling of lines. New submersible lights & 1 new tire on trailer (cost nearly $100).  Boat has factory-installed stainless steel bow pulpit. I also installed a stainless steel stern pulpit. She has bow, stern & masthead lights (all work!) and includes stainless-steel rigging. She is complete with tiller, kick-up rudder & keel winch so you can sail her right up on the beach.  Deck-stepped/easy-up aluminum mast & boom are straight with no dings or damage (my son & I have frequently stepped the mast & spent many overnight stays sleeping aboard--nothing beats sleeping on the water!). Sails are in good condition but likely will need cleaning. There's some minor mouse damage along the foot of the main sail. Cushions are in good condition, interior of cabin is carpeted. She has a dinette layout and a pop top, so she boats over 6 foot headroom in the main cabin.  She sleeps four (two in the main cabin & two in the forward cabin. She also has a smoked plexiglass companionway entry with vent although it has a crack in it, but still usable. Includes opening forward hatch and self-bailing cockpit. She is registered in Michigan, but tag will need updated when new owner files for transfer of registration. Bill of sale for boat & trailer will be provided on payment of balance.  Selling to liquidate assets of sailing museum due to pending divorce, health reasons & too many boats. Trailer is complete with forward winch and bearing buddies. New submersible lights may need new wires on trailer. Note this is a vintage boat so she's picked up her share of cosmetic dings & scratches, but is structurally sound.
