Description Condition: Used Year: 1987 Make: Stingray
Three years ago, my family purchased a used boat to fix up and take with us camping up north in Canada. The last two years have proven to us that the boat is a bit too big to get through the narrow, rocky channels that far up north, so we need to sell this boat and downgrade to a smaller one. We've made a lot of upgrades and improvements on her, which is part of the reason we are so heartbroken to let her go. She's a beautiful, reliable boat. She's been summarized after being shrink-wrapped over the winter and is ready to be put on the water!
I really do hope it goes to a good home. It's brought a lot of joy to us and our family is very sad to let it go.Specs:- The new trailer is a 2015 Road King - Model RKSS21B-4200 cost was $3699. Comes with a brand new spare tire.
- 1987 Stingray 199SS
- Fiberglass, body in tact, no soft spots or damage.
- 180hp, two brand new batteries with switch (one is used for emergency backup power).
- Mercruiser engine, 4-stroke I/O, 180 HP.
- We added a second brand new outboard motor for trolling or backup power, Mercury, 8HP 4-stroke.
- Centerline is 19' 3", the width is 93", the dead rise is 20".
- We had a custom Eisenglass wrap around added to the biminy top.
- We also added a custom made blue Sunbrella travel/storage cover, covers from windshield to stern.
- Comes with a Portapotty inside the cabin (original with boat, we never used it).
- Lower end of the motor was replaced, brand new in 2014.
- It has an electronic fish finder and a GPS system.
- Gel coat was buffed and re-waxed, brand new pin-striping and graphics applied.
- Teak swim platform.
- Has a live box/cooler installed that doubles as a seat, we remade a new marine foam cushion for it.
- We hand built a new storage bench which seats 2-3 people with a new marine foam cushion.
- We remade all the cushions inside the cabin with brand new marine foam and marine-grade fabric.
- We pulled the rear seats out and rebuilt the frames with all new wood, and then put the upholstery back on. So those are essentially new too.
- We steam cleaned all the carpets.
- It's been properly maintained, winterized and summerized, plus fresh water run through the motor once a week.
- It's in beautiful condition. Please contact me if you have any questions or if you'd like to set up an appointment for a showing.Important note: There is a typo in the third paragraph of the description that was pointed out to me. I say "new motors", when I should have written "new motor", meaning the brand new outboard installed. The specs that I listed are correct (the lower end/transmission of the existing Mercruiser I/O was replaced new in 2014, and there is a new 8 HP backup outboard installed). Someone made the assumption that it meant both motors are new, but that is not the case, as adding the extra "s" was just a typo on my part. Sorry for any confusion. The boat DOES run perfectly, was just on the water last summer, was well maintained and in ready-to-use condition.
