Without a doubt one of the best Quintex range ever made , the vessel that pioneered the unbreakable flared bow' Alloy hull / fibreglass top.
I grew up in a Cruiseabout fishing along side my dad back in the 1970's / 80's knowing that no matter how bad the sea was i knew we would always get back safe. The strengthening rib's and full infloor floatation made it unsinkable' i still remember the sales advert showing 6 guys in the boat and water up level with the dash and it still remained afloat. I began the search for another full knowing that these are now pretty rare to find but i found one in QLD and drove up to get it' upon arriving it was a OMG what happened to it !! ( as u can see from the photo's ) so began the total restoration. What sold me was the Evinrude 70 under the cowl looked like it has been in plastic it's whole life, I took it to the Evinrude / OMC shop here for a full fitness report and he was also amazed ' pots compressed at between 112 to 115psi and no work at all needed to the 70hp 2 stroke ( so we fully serviced / tuned and replaced the impeller ) and then started on restoration of the exterior of the motor and the in and out of the Cruiseabout.
So' the Cruiseabout was off the trailer and the trailer was restored with all new rollers, Bearing buddies, new winch, springs, LED submersable lights, fibreglass guards and new light truck tyres.
The Cruiseabout was striped of it's interior and all new underfloor foam inserted so new

Live bait tank ( homemade Blue tank at rear )
Original Evinrude control box ( super smooth ... No Clunk engaging .. glides into gear )
Bait / rod tower

Bimini frame ( it's only the Allow frame 3 bar .. No canvas ... never got around to finishing )
New Gauges and sender units
