LOCAL PICK-UPFor Sale or Trade... I am looking for bigger boat. 26-27', but will consider all trades of equal value. The boat is listed locally, so I reserve the right to end the listing at any time.Buy today and use tomorrow. Great for family outings. Draft is 23" with keel up to 6' with keel down. So she'll go anywhere you want. Buying a new boat, so "Mirasol" is up for grabs. You will find this boat has as much interior room as most 25ft sailboats and makes a great overnighter sleeper with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. She is a Wellcraft Starwind 22 Mark III model sailboat with pop-top hatch [see last picture]. Purchase includes Trailer and Honda 5 hp 4-stroke motor. Link to website: http://www.starwinds.com/stw220.html for boat statistics. Link to sailboatdata.com page: PICTURES: Old picture of her showing the pop-top. Pictures of the mast raising system. Picture of the dry bilge access [floor is dirty and needs a wipe down/cleaning. Picture of the new circuit panel and main switch. CONDITION: Really good condition [ok, I'm biased, but I've been looking at a lot of boats and comparably, Mirasol is in great shape]. Exterior just detailed. Bottom completely redone two years ago. I would challenge one to find a better Starwind around. Exterior wood all refinished. NO SOFT SPOTS anywhere. NEW electrical circuit breaker panel just installed. NEW bilge pump. [The boat is dry] Very Roomy!!!! You will find this boat has as much room as most 25 ft sailboats. Draws approximately 23" with swing keel up, approximately 6' with keel all the way down so you can take it anywhere!. New keel winch and cable 2 years ago, very simple operation. Jib on roller furler. All lines to cockpit. Comes with Danforth anchor and about 100' of chain and line. New main sheet. Jib sheets and furling sheet are two years old. Dock lines are fine, two new last year. Two bumpers included. Original two burner alcohol stove included, but I've never used it. Water 5 gallon removable water bottle connected to sink for fresh water. 2.5 gallon gas tank included. Rigging is good. SAILS: Comes with: Main sail, roller fuller jib [currently installed], extra roller furler genoa, and beautiful red and yellow gennaker sail. All in decent shape. MOTOR: Honda 5 hr 4 stroke runs like a dream! Usually first or second pull starts it even when the motor is cold. The motor is very efficient and will run for about 4-5 minutes after you remove the fuel source. MAST RAISING SYSTEM: I've built a one-person mast raising system that allows one person to put up or take down the mast in about 20 minutes time. TRAILER: The trailer is in really good shape and should have no problem transporting the boat anywhere you need to take it. Clean title on both the boat and the trailer. Magnetic trailer lights included. This boat is easily trailer launched! [My tow vehicle is a Honda Pilot]. INTERIOR: Interior cushions are all in great shape. Stereo works great. No real negatives, but what it should have done is: 1.) I'm in the process of installing a new fold-down table which is not done at the time of this writing. 2.) Forward deck hatch works fine, doesn't leak, and is sealed around the edges, but plexiglass should be replaced/resealed. 3.) it had an old VHF radio that died. Needs replacement. Unless you are going far from shore I recommend a handheld for about $150. 4.) Depth gauge and knotmeter need replacement. I have a new Raymarine ST-40 Speed gauge in the box, but not installed. I have been debating just buying a relatively inexpensive depth, speed, and fish finder that are installed on most of the boats I have encountered, but haven't made the decision yet. Call me if you have any questions. She is located at Hampton's Landing Marina just past the entrance to Leesylvania State Park at 16205 Neabsco Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22191 if you want to take a look at her. She is in the slip right next to the Fairfax County Fire Department boat. If you do go there, please stop in the Hampton's Landing office and let them know you why you are there. They are very nice people. For serious inquiries, at a mutually convenient time, I will pull the boat from the water on the trailer so you can inspect the bottom, and will provide a test drive!
