LOCATED IN OLD SAYBROOK ,CONNECTICUTPlease have your finances in order before bidding and be sure this boat is located within a distance that you can afford transportation to pick up.This listing is for a 1989 Four Winns 225 Sundowner cuddy cabin that was well taken care of . This boat had many upgrades and recent work but now has a mechanical problem. The previous owner replaced the engine a few years ago with a reman Jasper longblock along with new Edelbrock carb, fresh water cooling and racor fuel sep. The drive was replaced in 2008 as well. We hooked up our jump box and found that the starter only clicks. It will need the starter replaced or the engine is locked from sitting in storage for past two seasons. The heat exchanger is full of green coolant and the oil is gold and clean so hopefully it is only minor. The batteries will need a charge but most things work in the boat. Most everything powers up including the stereo, lights, power tilt, bilge pumps, blower and gauges. The upholstery and canvas is in very good shape and isn't very old. Interior and decks are all in great shape and has molded fiberglass decks below the snap in carpets. Overall a nice boat that needs a some mechanical work. If you are handy I'm sure you can get her running fairly easily. We are however selling as-is so feel free to inspect before purchase on Ebay. We can deliver for $2.50 per hauled mile anywhere in USA. If you have a trailer we can load at no cost to you.
