“Athene” LM 27 Motor Sailor "Athene" is a delightful vessel and probably one of the best kept examples of her marque on the market.I am selling her on behalf of my elderly parents who have unfortunately reached that time in life when you have to hang your oilies up for good. She has had new upholstery in 2009 and carpet to the cabin. Reconditioned Ford Watermota Sea Panther 30hp diesel engine which had done 25 hours since. Eberspacher central heating Sails have been cleaned and refurbished with new “stackapack” furling on the main and furling on the genoa. Balance Folding Table Cabin Inventory From the wheelhouse going forward there is a separate heads with a sea toilet, washbasin with pressurized hot & cold water on the port side and opposite a separate hanging cupboard. You then enter the saloon with seating on either side and a fixed centre folding table. The upholstery is a cream coloured leatherette with red piping and was replaced 2009. The saloon has also been carpeted in red which was fitted in 2009. There is also a forward V shaped double berth with a folding door from the saloon. General Inventory Navigation lights. Warps & Fenders. Galley is equipped with a stainless steel sink with pressurised hot & cold water. Hot water Calorifier with electric immersion heater. Electric automatic bilge pump. Portable battery charger. Portable 12v Fridge. Eberspacher heating. Rig & Sail Inventory The masthead is a Bermudan rig fitted with a roller furling genoa and lazy jacks for the main sail. Electrical Inventory There are 2 x 12volt batteries on board (1 engine 110 ah & 1 service 185 ah) charged via engine alternator or via 240volt shore power and portable battery charger.
