I am the second owner of this 1982 Dufour sailboat. She is 31' long with an 11' beam. She is a fine vessel that has been professionally maintained her whole life. She is currently sitting at the Oyster Bay marine center and the boat will come with the option to moor her there. This auction will also include an 8' dinghy and 2cycle motor currently located on the boat. I have never used the dinghy but it seems to be in good shape. The motor starts easy and runs without a hitch She has a great running Volvo diesel engine and I just upgraded the navonics last year to an Garmin system including the radar, however I have not replaced the radar dome yet. The old radar system and all the previous navonics are in place and in good working condition. I had originally planned for blue water sailing so I doubled up on all of essential equipment. She has a full complement of sails and the interior is in really good shape. She will come with a lot of extra items, you really will be surprised at how much great stuff is in the boat, she is ready and just waiting for a good captian. The only reason I am selling her is that she is sitting in Oyster Bay NY and I have accepted a position in Atlanta GA. and I cannot make time time to sail her. I had her pulled from the water and stored over winter and while I've secured a spot for her, I have not had her put back in She is at Oyster Bay marine center in long Island NY and anyone local can feel free to swing by and take a look at her, the folks at the marina have been Caring for her since she was brought to America.  Part of the winter package at the marina in a fresh coat of bottom paint so she will be pretty and ready to set sail.
