Recent bottom job and exterior is being detailed.  This is a great deal.  Boat was recently moved from Palm Beach to Miami and is ready to cruise.  Mechanically it all works, A/C's, Generator, engines, all operational.  The engine room could use a good cleanup.  Electronics have been updated with Garmin touch screen GPS 5212's.   There is an autopilot but it needs to be repaired. A ton of engine spare parts are included. Bob Hoog was a well respected flats boat builder and increased its line of offshore fishing boats building a popular 23' Center Console and eventually building 4 of the Hoog trawlers. This boat was originally built for an industrial arts teacher and he used his background to design and built the stained white oak cabinetry and trim throughout. The interior walls and construction are of fiberglass (not laminates!). Ease of operation, serviceability, low maintenance, safety, comfort, and fishability were the guiding parameters in the design and construction of this yacht. The hull of the Hoog Trawler is a semi displacement hull that was designed to cruise as both a planning yacht and a displacement yacht.  "Big Skinny" was built to be a well designed, well equipped, fish rigged, trawler only burning 5 gallons per hour with wide walk around decks so it could be dual purposed as a small charter vessel if needed.  Sister-ships have been equipped with 300hp Cummins, and the boat will cruise at 20 knots.Draft 4'WalkthroughEntrance is on to side deck and then to cockpit.
