Ribcraft 4.8 RibA fantastic opportunity to own a safe, fun and manageable boat, great for family explorations and fun days out. Bumble is a 4.8 M Ribcraft Rib, designed to accommodate up to 6 people. She comes with a 50 HP 4 stroke mariner outboard that will push her to an easy and smooth 30+ knots. The engine has undergone extensive work at Sam speed marine in Gloucestershire with (receipted) £2500 spent on new exhaust castings and a rebuild / full service. Since then she has done zero hours on the water. She comes with a good rollercoaster trailer, almost new trailer board, refurbished winch, two fuel tanks, recent fuel filter. Bumble has a remote trim / tilt, kill switch, two kill cords and two keys.She has been stored indoors for the last few years and the tubes / hull are in great condition with only one small repair on the tubes, professionally carried out before I had the boat. It is barely noticeable and out of harms way where the tube meets the transom. I have just had her tuned again (carbs flushed and balanced, new crankshaft sensor) and she has a brand new battery and is ready for the summer.
This boat handles brilliantly in any condiditons that you are likely to go out in. It is stable, predictable and safe. Reluctant sale due to change in family circumstances.She is well equipped with an anchor, 10's of feet of warp, and fenders.With the boat comes a fish finder, depth sounder and speed indicator, two almost new automatic life jackets, a further conventional life jacket with fixed buoyancy and a ski vest.
