This is a 1978 steel barge. I have lived aboard her for 3 years now. The pictures of her outside the water were taken when I first bought her 3 years ago. She was completely renovated then. We worked on her hull and she was treated with oxide and anti fouled .Inside we completely gutted her and stripped back to the steel. We then re insulated and replaced with new wood. Her floor was taken up and she now has white wood flooring throughout. All new windows are double glazed. She runs on a diesel central heating system, with radiators. All re wired, both 240/12V systems. There is a 30cm extension to the front where the main bedroom and shower are located.Moving down the boat is the lounge area which has a sofa bed which comes down into another double if required. Then there is separate flushing toilet. The kitchen has white gloss units. A small fridge and electric hob and oven. She is perfectly comfortable to live on as she is, but does need some more work doing. We have bought a new automatic water pump which is aboard but needs fitting. Also there is another window, which is also aboard, needs fitting. It has been left out deliberately so that furniture could be taken out. But once any new furniture is aboard it is there to be replaced. The fuel tank is contaminated and needs replacing, which would cost around £300.Her engines are Lister, but they haven't been used in over 3 years, and so would need an overhaul before they would run.Currently she is moored in Brighton, but the mooring is coming to an end, so she would need a new berth. Because her engines don't work and she can't go out to sea from the marina, she would need lifting and transporting by road to her new location.I have been very upfront with all that needs doing. But please ask any questions or give me a call to arrange viewing BEFORE you bid. It's Sandy on 07764245723. I also have some videos taken a few days ago if you would like to see them I can text them to you. Many thanks for viewing. Sandy.
