Here we have a 20ft long hand crafted traditional gaff cutter rig based on a "white swan". It is a selway fisher design and is situated 6 miles from taunton in Somerset.
It is 4 years old but has only been sailed for one season out of Exmouth, Devon.
It is cedar strip construction with both internal and external fibre glass sheath.
It has teaked decks, a lifting keel, tan sails and a cream outer jib.
It sleeps 2 and has tan cushions that convert to a bed, have never been slept on and have been stored indoors so are virtually like new.
It has a 2 ring gas hob for cooking and plenty of built in storage.
It has a 4hp reconditioned 4 stroke mariner sailmate petrol outboard motor included.
Also included an SBS 4 wheel trailer worth about £2,000 that has never been in the water so uncorroded like many others out there.
The main sail has a small tear (please see photo) but the stay sail and small jib are in perfect condition and bag is included.
It does need some tlc to bring up to scratch but a lovely little project for the scorching few months ahead! It comes with many extras so ive compiled a list; * 3 Seapro lifejackets (as new)
* Distress kit for day/night (can be seen 3 miles from shore)
* A compass
* Hand bearing compass
* Extra rope
* Lock and chain ( for locking the out board motor) I would prefer people to come and view before bidding as i'm selling on behalf of my father who doesnt do ebay. The auction is for 10 days and end on saturday 4th June, the boat will have to be collected on sunday 5th June or 2 weeks later as my father is on holiday.I have a 100% feedback and would like you to be happy knowing exactly what youre bidding for, so please come and view if you can!
