For sale: 1981 Mirage 30 built in UK by Thames Marine. The boat is in perfect structural and working condition, and is ready to be sailed away. This is perfect boat for summer holiday and weekend cruises.BOAT:
It is a fibreglass, sloop rigged cruising yacht with accommodation arranged in three cabins. She has a centre cockpit and is fitted with bilge keels.
as mentioned she is in perfect working order, but have a few marks and scratches.
In mast furling system on a main sail, furling genua and all ropes run in to cockpit, together with autopilot (and “on wire” remote control) make her nice and easy to operate.
this design is ideally suited as a yacht for safe and comfortable family cruising with the obvious advantage of shallow draft ,the ability to dry out with ease and very easy sail handling. Replaced wooden grab handels and wooden trim on deck. Serviced sails. Replaced running rigging, refitted windows, sea coks, some cushion covers, shore power, new upholstery in aft cabin and redone 12 V . ENGINE
Yanmar 2QM 20, 20 hp diesel, recently replaced oil, filters and water pump, new thermostat, new exhaust water trap, serviced remote control. 3 blade propeller, with rope stripper on prop shaft.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
3 battery’s, one separate for engine only (new summer2013), and two “domestic”(new, spring 2014), charging system with blocking diode.
mixed LED and standard interior lighting,
full 220 V shore power installation with circuit breaker box and one or more sockets in every compartment (at least 6) stainless steel 70 litres fuel tank.
about 180 litres build in water tank.
manual toilet. (with lots of room and very easy tech access so can be easily replaced with new electric system.) LIST OF EQUIPMENT:
