For sale is this immaculate Mayland 14 with a Selva 5hp outboard.I bought it last year to use on the River Rother in Sussex, with the view to upgrading to a larger vessel if I enjoyed it.Well, I have now bought a Shetland 535, so she is now surplus to requirements!Last year, before launching in late July, much work was undertaken. This included fitting new tinted perspex windows, new marine ply floorboards which are triple coated and topped with non slip paint, stainless steel grab rails, new cleats and fairleads, a topside repaint, anti foul, new navigation and steaming lights for any night or bad weather use, which are powered by a small 12volt battery and solar charger (as yet unused) and the fitting of a purpose built trailer board holder which detaches when required with the removal of one clevis pin. The decks also have non slip strips as well.The engine has done around 6-7 hours in freshwater only, since a full service at Rye Harbour Marine and comes with a 22 litre fuel tank and original tool roll.The boat also comes with a brand new pair of oars, set of fenders, two anchors (one lighter one for use in freshwater with no chain and a heavier one with chain and a longer rope for saltwater).Also included are three spare wheels and tyres for the trailer.I have added a stainless steel cover support so that water does not lay in the cover whilst afloat or at home on the trailer. This is not a purpose made cover though and if I was keeping the boat I would have one made. If not required, the unit can be removed by unscrewing four bolts.The whole outfit is ready to go, all you will need is your lighting board!NOTE: I am also happy to split the outfit by selling without the engine, which I can use as an auxiliary on my new boat.
