All MacWester models were well constructed. The GRP lay up was exceptionally good in the 1970's. The Rowan Crown got is name from the Queen's Jubillee year. This model is a good sailer. The long keel and slippery under water parts give it a good turn of speed on a beam reach. Good for cruising the UK coasts with not too much draft only 4 feet. The accommodation is very well laid out. Good standing headroom which is unusual in a boat of this size. The interior is in generally good condition and the engine has been serviced professionally over the last few years. A roller furling gear is in good shape being new about 3 seasons ago. A GRP dinghy is included. It has VHF and Garmin GPS and newish sea toilet.
