Hobie Cat 14 built around 1979 and in good working order – ready to sail. This Cat has mostly been in storage indoors for the last 25 years and only used occasionally. The owner before me also stored it under cover and only used on holidays. The keels have minimal wear in the middle from launching and beaching on the sand, the wear is quite shallow and considered normal. Overall the boats condition is very good. · The hulls are in good condition with no damage. · Trampoline is good, no rips, no missing stitching, no lost or pulled eyelets. · The sail is good, no tears, all the battens are in place. · The mast is straight. · No significant corrosion anywhere. · There is a trapeze and harness setup so you can hang off the side of the boat. · Hulls and trampoline are mustard yellow colour. The trailer is ok for short distance transport from a house to the beach or lake, but due to its age it should be checked prior to long trips or freeway speeds. The plastic of the left tail light cover is cracked. There is a spare tyre for the trailer. The hull serial is 4433 which would date the boat at circa 1979. The sail serial is 30840. Inspection prior to purchase is welcomed; just send me an email for the details. You can inspect anytime between 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Pickup and inspection is from Hallam, Victoria, 3803.
