I have owned this boat for 5 years and it has been nothing but fun. Totally reliable and starts first time every time, even at the beginning of the season. I have run the boat for half an hour today 07/05/2016 and is perfect as always.We are selling due to baby arrival and therefore spare time is now non existent!Very stable and unsinkable platform for fishing and fast enough for water sports such as wake boarding and donuts! The pram type hood, an expensive addition, is great for windy rainy days when you, or the young ones, just want to get out of the elements and folds neatly out of the way when the sun comes out. The engine is the rock solid type still used by the RNLI. I've had many of these outboards, they always start and run without any trouble or fuss. They require minimal servicing and are very economical. I usually only take 25 litres of fuel for a good day's boating. Last year I treated the engine to a full major service including full carb clean, gearbox oil change, trim oil change, water pump renewal (including housing), new spark plugs and has probably done 4 hours since. The boat is always flushed with fresh water as after sea I take it to Christchurch slipway, fresh water river. There is a rev counter, battery charge monitor and temp gauge at the helm.  New battery fitted 2015 The steering was stiff so I have replaced it from start to finish with a premium non feedback system so when you let go out at sea it stays in the same position you left it in, new parts include;-New steering cable-New steering tube through outboard-New steering wheel-New Helm mechanism The trailer is made by the well known brand Snipe and the boat fits on it perfectly, you can single handed launch and recover with ease.
