For sale is my Toy for the Boy a Picton Cobra 6mtr RIB, she has been used occasionally and always serviced and well maintained ( last full service was June 2015) inc impeller. She has a helm cover for occasional use but also a full 650 gsm vinyl cover for the winter or periods of non use.
The trailer is included in this sale, this has just had new brake cables and new wheel bearings, she has been towed with the RIB on the back from Cardiff to Gloucester and does tow well. There is also a number plate board and cable that connects to car for lights and indicators.Hitch lock is included.
I have owned this RIB and trailer since 2005 and has been used in the Severn estuary, even going to Illfracoombe, she does go well and has a 120ltr in board stainless steel petrol tank, which is currently drained( she will also come with an auxillary petrol 30ltr tank). The engine has always been flushed in fresh water as she always went back to the drystack via Ely River.
She has 1 start battery, has VHF arial and co-ax along with power lead, power comes from a buzz bar in the helm, also wired for Garmin GPS, along with fixed compass, there is also a double "A" frame with navigation lights, VHF ariel and Garmin GPS, it also has an engine lock to transom which is included.
She has 500gal an hr bilge pump from the deck along with an internal bilge pump , when in motion the deck is drained via a ball type self drain ( works better than a donkey cock towed behind).
This RIB is wider than most and therefore more stable out in the rough stuff, you can walk around the helm, there is seating for 4, 2 up front on jockey seat with back rest, and 2 behind the helm on jockey seat with back rest.pics show 9 on board going across Cardiff bay ,, there is plenty of room .
Tubes are fantastic and hold pressure, no pressure put in since November 2015, new valves put in 2013.
Deck has tread master anti slip matting on all deck areas.
Viewing is recommended, this wont go on a car roof , it has been towed with a 1.6 citreon.
