This boat is a must see if looking for a classic, a CC Commander...or any 40' boat. It is a classic that turns heads no matter where we take it. The teak work grabs everyone's attention and the mahogany interior keeps their jaws dropped. The bright chrome plated steps shine in the sun (but don't hold heat) and the wood slats on the flybridge floor are unlike any floor you'll see on any other boat. The large sliding door to the aft deck makes you feel as if you're outside when you're actually inside. For the price, this boat is a must see and a must not miss! It may be the nicest 38' Commander in existence.   Since owning the boat, we've made multiple improvements. The previous owner, who was the original owner, did a fine job of keeping the boat in it's clean, original condition. He had the starboard engine rebuilt and kept everything in good running condition. We just took it to another level, starting with the mechanics and working outward to the interior and then exterior.  Here is a list of everything we've done:New 7.3 kohler generator - 6 yrs agoNew Dometic vacu-flush head - 5 yrs agoNew Flexsteel leather reclining sleeper sofa with aero mattress - 6 yrs agoSALON REFINISHED IN MAHOGANY VENEER - GORGEOUS!!HEAD REDONE IN MAHOGANY VENEER - with countertop repainted and new fixturesNew Raritan hot water heater - 6 yrs agoNew rectifier - 6 years agoNew Interphase forward looking sonar - 5 yrs agoFaux wood panel replaced in sliding doors - 5 yrs agoNew swim platform - 5 yrs agoNew teak bow pulpit with new Quick windlass - 5 yrs agoAll teak redone every 3 yrs - swim platform, pulpit, toe rail, ladder to bridgeSteering cable replaced - 5 years agoNew canvas enclosure - 5 yrs agoNew aluminum blinds - 3 years agoNew bilge pump - 3 years agoNew CD/input stereo with speakers in the salon and cockpit - 2 yrs agoNew carpet in salon and galley and aft deck - this yearStarboard prop replaced this yearBoth engines tuned every year for optimal performanceHorns upgraded for louder sound - 2 yrs agoGalley countertops refinished - 3 yrs agoNew curtains throughout - 3 yrs agoBesides all of the new items listed above, the boat is also equipped with:
