Well it's time to sell the boat. We just don't have time for it. $1,200.00 and local pickup only (Houston, Texas area)
It's a well maintained 1986 Vagabond 14ft Sailboat. Nothing wrong with it that I know of. Has minor scratches but nothing structural. It would be a great first sailboat and easy to sail and rig by one person. Has nice cover, and homemade PVC cover support. 3 New tires. This boat is small enough and does not require registration or Title in Texas. Plates on Trailer are expired.
Boat is for sale locally and may sell.NOTE: An eBayer emailed me and said "I have researched the vagabond 14, and it turns out they stopped making them in 1983 when the plans were sold to Hobie. Hobie made an identical boat called a Holder 14 until 1987 when they made slight changes and renamed it Hobie-One 14. The logo on the sail indicates this is a Vagabond, you indicate this is a 1986, which has caused me to be skeptical of the validity of the add itself. I would have to actually see feel and touch before I could make any other offer. I apologize but todays world makes me weary."I certainly understand being skeptical, and I may be wrong on the year. I purchased the boat in 2003 and in Texas this size sailboat has no title and does not need registration. So if the research is correct it's at least 1983 or earlier. It's still a great boat for the money.
