In a world of plastic cookie cutter powerboats, there is now a modern classic speedboat that will set your heart to throbbing. Vintage mahogany planks are set into a epoxy/glass laminate that forms a seamless construction that will never move or leak, unlike the originals. A modern deep V hull design will ride smooth and comfortable, again unlike the originals. There is no varnish to be renewed. It is finished in clear coat epoxy and automotive clear that will require no more care than you would give your car finish. It is powered by a Mercruiser TKS 3.0L engine with a 4 star emissions rating and Alpha One out drive with trim. The hull carries the required foam flotation and complies with all Coast Guard requirements. The mahogany planking was salvaged from the last remaining stock of 3/16's mahogany planking laid up by Higgins Boat Building in New Orleans for the construction of PT boats during WWII. It is very beautiful, close grain dark ruby color. Mahogany planking like this is impossible to find anywhere in the world now. A new custom trailer is included.
