Ducky 13 is the smallest in the Ducky catamaran family. This smallest model is suitable to introduce both children and adults to the fascinating world of sailing. It is an ideal boat for active recreation on water, and completely safe with minimal handling skills. Ducky 13 is very compact and mobile. It can be transported in any vehicle. A special trailer or a slip or a specially equipped storage space for a winter time is not required. This catamaran has a simple design and can be assembled without any tools within 15-25 minutes. Ducky 13 doesn’t have standing rigging. The free-standing mast eliminates the possibility of the catamaran capsizing in a strong wind. If you are tired of sailing and prefer to just relax sunbathing, simply remove the mast from its socket to turn the catamaran into a soft cot (size: 1.8 x 1.8 m). Ducky 13 is perfect for 1-2 persons. The bracket for outboard motor of 2.2 hp can be mounted on stern. The frame, the mast and connecting units are made of anodized high quality aluminum alloy. The profiled centerboard and the rudder of fiberglass reinforced plastic. The sail made of “Dimension-Polyant Dacron” (170 g/m2). All fastening elements are made of stainless steel.
