You are bidding on a 1979 42' Post Sport fisherman "Barabara's Dream".  This boat is my parents boat who are no longer boating due to illness.  They owned the boat for over 15 years and cherished it.  Unfortunately, the last few years it has been sitting and is in need of some work.  The engines are in very good shape(2600 hours) and generator has few hours on it(400 hours).  Twin 671 natural detroits power her and they run very well and always well maintained.  Cruises at 18 knots with a fuel consumption of 12 gallons an hour. The boat will shine like new once washed and waxed .  The bottom was just painted before we put it back in the water last week.  She is equip with all the standard amenities she was built with.  Queen bed in Master Stateroom and double bunks in forward Stateroom. Galley has Refrig and Stove all operational and also has A/C and heat.  Interior woodwork is original and in very good shape. Electronics/Radar(Furuno) are outdated but do work when last used. Some additional things are a Windless Anchor and transom has a fish door. There are 2 fuel tanks and the 1 tank leaked 2 years ago and has since been removed of fuel.  We have not had anyone look to see the cause. New impellers and filters being installed as of this spring once it is decommissioned. Things that are in need of repair and guesstimates to fix them:Top Side/hull wash/wax  $2000
Paint on trim outside hatches/windows $500
Varnish outside cockpit deck/ door trim $1500
Fix fuel tank $4000 (That is assuming it is tank) or you can run both engines on one tank
Back cockpit counter-top and base warped $500
Port Trim Tab dismounted.  Not sure if screw or more serious $2000( worse case) see photo
Plastics on Bridge can use stitching and repair $2500
Fix bad wood around front cabin window $1500
Miscellaneous $3000-5000Reserve is set at $34,900 and would give someone the chance to own a quality boat in need of some repair. Boat is currently located on Tilghman Island, Maryland and spent many years in Rock Hall, Maryland at RH Railway. I think this boat could be really nice again with some love and money.  Clean Post of this size and year having diesels sell for between 60-90k .  Good luck bidding and winning bidder is responsible for pick up and delivery.  We have clear title in hand.  Serious inquiries only please..
