1960 Chris Craft Sportsman 17ftThis boat has seen a restoration, which included new fuel tank,new gauges, new bottom, 16 coats of varnish, new upholstery.The boat received a new Chevrolet 283 marine motor. After installation, and prior to being put in water, was stored. Over winter,the freeze plugs did not come out and the block cracked. I have purchased a replacement block and it is included, in this auction. Some parts of the motor have been cleaned and repainted with engine paint. I will add more pictures of the motor. NOTICE TO BIDDERS and BUYERThis boat does not currently run. The motor is partially disassembled and require a complete rebuild.The buyer will receive all available parts needed to rebuild the replacement block.The doghouse (engine cover) need to be rebuilt. It is included.BOAT IS BEING SOLD AS-ISThe good is the boat is super cool. Hagerty's online valuation tool puts this boat in fair condition in the $12000+ range and in excellent condition in the $28000+ range.This boat is better than fair and not yet excellent, but could be with minimal investment and effort. I will work with buyer to help with arrangement ,of transport, but buyer remains solely responsible for shipping.
