Sadly we do not have time to use our Ribeye at the moment, so she needs to be sold. She was one of the early boats built in the UK when they used proper quality materials. She is nearly 20 years old so has the normal wear associated with a boat of this age. However, she performs strongly and has an amazing hull that copes with any sea conditions. The engine has just been serviced which included a new water pump. She is the lightweight powerful 2 stroke, ideal for water sports or fast cruising. She has the counter rotating propellers for smooth power and handling.The engine has run for a total of 115 hours. There is also a ski pole that we used for towing the kids on the inflatable doughnut and skis. The boat has nice details such as teak bathing platform, stainless steel, folding boarding ladder, concealed deck lights. Navigation equipment includes GPS Plotter with depth, VHF radio, compass (needs replacing), navigation lights and spot light. The engine instruments are digital Yamaha instruments and show oil level, revs, engine hours, fuel and tilt and trim. The boat cruises comfortably between 25 and 30 mph and has hit almost 40 mph on a calm day. The trailer is a very expensive aluminium Gullwing trailer with the easy launch and recover roller system. I have often launched and recovered the boat on my own. Last summer the trailer had all new wheel bearings, new brake cables and new brake shoes. She tows very easily behind a 2 litre car. The trailer also has flushing points so that the hubs can be flushed through after being in salt water. Wheel clamp for the trailer is included. Since being serviced the trailer has covered about 450 miles when we took the boat to Devon for our summer holiday. The is boat is not perfect but is very useable and fun. She will provide hours of enjoyment for relatively little money.She is located near Ipswich. Can deliver to the Peterborough / Northampton area by arrangement and once paid for.
