Halcyon 23 ft Sloop by Seamaster - with HD trailer Needs Cleaning and Maintenance £2,000 I've owned this boat for 35 years, since almost new, and has spent most of its life under cover on its trailer. therefore the fibre glass hull, decking and superstructure are good and have never been damaged or painted, The hull has twin keels and a centre skeg for shallow draught and stands upright when dried out.
Anodized aluminum mast and boom with roller reefing, and SS standing rigging. SS Pulpit, SS Pushpit, SS Main sheet traveler, SS Stanchions with SS lines, and 2 stubbing winches Aluminum Wash boards, Aluminum Locker lids, Aluminum cockpit sole to save on maintenance. The three sails are stored in bags which have had little use and little exposure to U V. Fitted with a Swedish single cylinder Albin Marine Engine, with low running hours, fitted with a Dynostart. Down below is a Sea Toilet, SS Sink, Fresh water tank, Nav table, Hanging locker and Cupboard. Vee berth in bow with two quarter berths in main cabin. The Heavy Duty trailer has been modified to easily retrieve boat from water. This saves on mooring fees, crainage, transport and storage. Making maintenance at home more convenient I towed this with my Jaguar, which allowed me to vary the areas where I sailed. . Maintenance Required - A good clean. Renew Rubbing strip, Window Rubbers and the Foam in mattresses . The small marine engine needs attention due to standing. Secure the Toe Rails. Paint and Service the trailer. This is a comparatively modest project for a practical enthusiast, without committing ones self to future high priced running costs..
