The skirting for this unit appears to be of the segmented jupe type (rubberized fabric), most of these segmented units appear to be in excellent condition, although a few have some small holes that should be easily patched.  Note: the segmented jupe type skirting form individual cone type cells with the bottoms cut off and their bases attached to the bottom of the outer hull, making replacement of an individual cell very easy.   We detached these jupe cells, numbering them (they were attached with plastic zip-tie wraps), see the picture, to make sure we did not damage them when we transferred the hovercraft.See the link below for the benefits and limitations to this skirt design: The original engines were VW aircooled units, although it appears from information on the internet that small snowmobile, motorcycle or ultralight motors will work. The support wood under the 3" wide gunwales appear to have separated from the fiberglass deck and could do with some repairs to reinforce those areas of the deck (although they supported my weight).   When we were transferring between trailers one of the gunwales tore out (see the last picture). The unit has two large 20 gallon aluminum gas tanks located amidships below the central deck.   The sub-hull that provides flotation for when the hovercraft is at rest on the water appears to be in excellent shape (the internet seems to indicate that this sub-hull is foam-filled, so that this hovercraft would be very tough to sink). This hovercraft has been stored outdoors for a couple of years and the upper fiberglass has separated from the wood deck in places, but supports my weight. This auction is only for a hovercraft as shown in this pictures displayed with this item, it does not include the engines, associated assemblies or fan blades. Nor does it include a trailer. The canvas passenger cover and two of the aluminum braising needs mending. See http://www.decastris.com/hcc/builders/voyager/voyager.htm for information and pictures of the same model as originally equipped. The skirting for this unit appears to be of the segmented juped type, most of these segmented units appear to be in excellent condition, although a few have some small holes that could be easily patched. See http://hovercrafthomepage.blogspot.com/2010/02/hovercraft-faq.html for information on hovercraft operations.See http://www.hoverhawk.com/ for information on obtaining replacement fan blower blades.
This unit is available for local pickup only (FOB: Somerset Wisconsin).   Note the size of this boat/hovercraft, and come prepared with a trailer that can transport it to your location.   We may be able to provide some assistance in loading the unit onto your trailer.
