This Mariner was built in 1969 (though the Mass Registration says 1971).  It is Hull # 1671.The been restored and has had many improvement projects over the last 10 years. Rigging the boat is simple with a tabernackle mast.  Trailering is simplified with the centerboard design.  Easy to Launch and rig.  The boat sails great.  It is very stable and balanced.  The Genoa provides excellent power and this boat powers out of tacks much better than the "sister" Rhodes 19.  The deck was awlgripped, the bottom stripped and barrier coated. The hull is painted with Petit Easy Poxy and was done Spring 2016. The brighwork is original Mahogony (except for the drop boards) and is exceptionally well maintained. The sail handling equipment includes a roller furler and lazy jacks. The sails -- main and Genoa - are both radial cut and made of durable squareweave dacron. The boat has a white with red stripe spinnaker. All running rigging and standing rigging are in good condition. The deck hardware is all Harken Carboblocks. The running rigging is updated and includes Mafioli Mainsheet and endruabraid Jib sheets. Canvas includes a custom red and blue sailcover. There are interior cushions and cockpit cushions. The cabin is comfortable and clean for "boat camping". Custom boxes with sliding doors have replaced the original shelves for storage of gear. The boat has a winter storage cover. The mast can be stored on mast crutches and it is used as the backbone for the custom cover. The cover is made from Top Gun Fabric and Soft Touch (like top gun on outside, but felt like inside) for where the cover touches the painted hull.  And the orginial drop boards are used in the winter so the newer set can be taken home and varnished over the winter. The boat is powered with a Mercury 2.2 hp outboard.Included with the boat is a Caulkins Trailer which is serviceable.Boat's Inventory includes:
