Ever dreamed of sailing the Med, or having a boat down there at a very affordable price? Well, I have a sabre 27ft for sale in need of a bit of work. She is an extremely sea-worthy sailing sloop that is complete, but needs a few weeks varnishing/painting, here and there, the headlining has dropped a little and the engine, although not used much, is shabby...superficial rust and some of the electrical connections have corroded. The upholstery for the massive double bed is amazing, and there are two more berths up front. A pressurised hot water system...including external shower..has been 90 per cent installed, and just needs a calorifier to take the heat from the engine hot water. The stern has been professionally extended for a bathing platform, and a rear wash-down shower has been installed.  There are heads, a sink, lovely cupboards, and altho time has made her look sad, with a little tlc she could soon be back sailing to Italy, Majorca, or anywhere else. The sails were newish, but their condition will need verifying after this time. The top-sides and hull are very sound...and no doubt totally dry after 7 years ashore. The very friendly, English speaking marina is just west of Marseilles and probably has the cheapest mooring fees on the Med. Approx £800 p.a. !!...includes a lift in and out and a pressure wash off. Marseilles is a couple of hours away. Flights go to Arles...and I could probably take you on from there, or a very pleasant drive down. I am selling so that someone else can have an amazing Mediterranean experience, subject to a little elbow grease input, plus I now have a boat in the UK. I have sailed extensively in Gigha Mist and she will safely take you anywhere. So, I've tried to be honest about the boat, and would willingly give any further information that is required. She is advertised elsewhere, so first paid gets her.
